What is the good reason that he is the most population president of X generation, pray tell? The polls always have extremely high popularity ratings when the economy is good. It speaks more to what people feel about their personal financial situation than anything. What does the president have to do with that? Mostly nothing. The economy is cyclical and the federal budget is mostly mandated entitlement spending (70%), defense spending, and interest payments. Even education, which most liberals make such a big deal of, is small when compared with the local budgets which are 90% of the education spending. Same with crime.
