Small Caps' Time May Be Near
By Vito J. Racanelli - July 30, 1998

Among his favorite small-cap holdings, Kailin likes International Manufacturing Services, a company that does contract manufacturing for disk drive makers. The company has its plants in low-cost countries and is expected to grow earnings by 33% to 80 cents a share in 1999. IMS sells at a piddling 6.4 times that 1999 estimate, Kailin notes. He projects its long-term compound annual earnings growth at 25% to 35%.

I hopes this brings a little positive momentum to this stock.
