To Robert and All Others on this thread:
Robert, please don't take this the wrong way, I mean no harm! I just wanted to provoke a thought. I ponder this question myself a lot. I ask you this lovingly....
You said,
"... as the Old Covenant has been replaced by the New Covenant."
If you do away with the Old Covenant completely, and there are still truths, prophecies and principles that are still left, and God wants you to learn, know and teach from them, how will you feel on judgement day? How do you think you will feel in front of our Almighty Father, if he tells what you have been teaching has been wrong or not 100% true? What if you are leading people astray? I pray about this a lot in regards to myself.
That's why I pray about all my posts. And if I'm not sure of something 100% and have no conviction from the Holy Spirit, one way or the other, I don't say it. Teaching others the bible takes a lot and one must be very careful doing it. I'm sure you know that already and take this into consideration.
Ponder this:
James 3 1 Be not many [of you] teachers, my brethren, knowing that we shall receive heavier judgment.
Just wanted to post this to you, as I was inspired to, and others on this thread. I mean no harm, please know that! May God teach us his words and ways accurately, always!
God Bless, Steve
