Greetings Steve, I sense you have a honest intent in your questions and certainly mean no harm whatsoever. For that I thank you my brother. Steve , I am not a teacher, that is one of the ministries of the Holy Spirit. I share what I believe the Lord Most Holy has revealed to me through much study of His Word. I always keep in mind that the whole counsel of God's Word, from Genesis to Revelation must be the parameters in all scriptural truths. Yes Steve, I did say the Old Covenant has been replaced by the New Covenant, as this is a very clear in the many books of the Bible. Actually, the Lord Jesus Christ stated this himself in Luke 22:20. With all due respect Steve, by these questions, you show that you do not have " biblical" understanding of both the Old and New Covenants. I am confident that as you, Emile and the brethren continue in the study of Hebrews, God will cause His Light to open our understanding of His eternal Word. To that end I will pray. Grace and peace be yours without measure. Robert. |
