I couldn't help but notice a telling twinge of uncertainty (or the need to think even about it) in your last remark, since you used the words 'still' and 'chances':

"There is plenty of competition out there, but I still like T's chances for continuing at the top of the telecom group."

Two short years ago, this would have sounded like a curious remark, at best. Today, it is merely fitting.
