Webb- I suggest you follow what I said and run a scan which was in my post. This
works and also allows one to rerun the scan say once a month to allow for symbol
changes- example JBIL change to JBL and GET did not see it until I reran the symbols
scan. This will incorporate all indexes and stock symbols in a set of files which GET
then combines and sees as one file. But remember in GET to click OFF all other files so
the program sees only one data set.

I did exactly as you noted with the one exception that I just created the symbols.lst in the qp2data\lists area and exported it into the virtual format. I then made the changes in GET and as you said, I can now get any file via GET.

When you do the second scan after say a month, do you remove the first data set via the virtual setup?
