news.hydrocarbononline.com Two thing that bother me about this article:Dated 7/28/98 1: Currently, Rentech is in something of a holding pattern with Texaco, with whom it has been negotiating for several months to acquire a license to Rentech's technology. 2: The company says that the U.S. consumes up to 30 million lb/yr of F-T wax. Still, the capital cost of a 5,000-bbl/d plant is over $100 million-an expensive proposition. re: #1 why are we in something of a holding pattern ???? re: #2 how many pounds of F-T wax can be made from 5,000 bbl/d Rock ( some what confused )
