Silicon Investors is a nice place for discussions and making new contacts. I have been one of the writers under the SCQ and Tenke threads. On S I there is a possibility to write personal messages that is of great importance. This gives the opportunity to ask and answer questions that you don't want to make public. There are of course a question of confidence in this.

This is an indirect answer to such a private message that asked me about sources about Tenke Mining.

It is of course a frustrating situation to see the share price go up and down in the way it does these days. It all comes down to if Lundin affords waiting. Is capital available to make the next payment to Gecamine or is Lundin dependent of the outcome of the present negotiations? ...and what is the official date when the first feasibility study is closed (after witch there are three month left to create financing for the project)?

As a source on the external situation in DRC (the currency reform among other things) I still use NCN but not as intense as before. (They seem to have made some changes in there view on the development in the DRC that suits me, but there coverage is not that close anymore.)

For the moment I use my own time trying to read about variables that impact aggregate demand (and copper/cobolt prices). I have started to penetrate the link about the Asian crisis that you can find on the official home page of London Metal Exchange. Saying this I am quite optimistic about what will be the outcome of the negotiations.

Regards,
Gunnar
