A good start. Let's not call it the Gump and Chicken thread. I would rather make it more open. If you want to include in the header the impetus for this contest, fine. We need to be more specific on the buy/sell rules and I think we should start everyone with cash in hand. 10k-100k? Without a cash limit someone could say they are buying/calling/putting a million shares of MSFT. A guess in the right direction would skew the results. Is this a buy on 8/3 and sell on 9/1 with no out or in points along the way? What about options that may expire during that time period? Not being anal, just trying to diffuse issues proactively. Also, I would like to start on the 4th. Why? I want to give more people the oppurtunity to play along and I will be in the air all night and working a 10 hr. day on monday. My DD time for this specific contest is limited by this severely.
