Here's a hot one... Mr. Metz has been spouting this drivel since 1987.... I guess he'll get it right eventually, but it's pretty comical to see him jump at any slip in the market as the beginning of "THE END"... Metz wouldn't know market psychology if it smacked him in the shnoz... This was on the wire around 1:00 on 12/11/96 with the market down 100 or so points... "I think the psychology now is you'd better be the first one out the door," said Michael Metz, chief investment strategist at Oppenheimer & Co. "I think a lot of professional money managers who had hoped these gains would last until January 2 are scared out of their mind right now."
