Thanks Double H, glad you like the newsletter. Re GW. Book value. Exactly what is book value? If you buy a rig for 4 million does that go to book value at 4 million? I think it does. Is there "goodwill" or other non-tangibles included in book value? How often do companies "adjust" their book value? (of course the book value is decreased by depreciation) Rig values change rapidly. I would like to see what the per share book value would be if the rigs were "marked to market". big jump.to
