Quest Net Signs its First Wireless Broadband Client in South Florida

July 31, 1998--Quest Net Corp. (OTC BB:QNET) has signed a 3-year contract with WebCafe Corp. a privately held Florida corporation, to provide a total wireless 3 Mbps Internet connection.

The agreement marks the start of Quest Net's fast penetration into the wireless broadband distribution.

Announcement of the 3-year contract was made by Camilo Pereira, President and C.E.O of Quest Net Corp., a leading Internet Service Provider based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Quest Net will be providing all of the WebCafe outlets with a two way Internet access. The first WebCafe of the startup chain has been opened this week in Fort Lauderdale and four more are schedule to open before December 1998.
Quest Net, with it's fast and reliable Internet access, will be able to enhance the WebCafe great concept.

The 3Mbps full duplex (two-way) wireless Internet connection is the fastest business connection available for the price in the country. The high-speed wireless data connection is being used to replace frame relay T1 connections and other expensive and difficult to obtain copper solutions offered by local telephone companies.

"Companies that can't afford to wait for installation of traditional data lines and would like higher speeds to the Internet for less money now have a solution, Quest Wireless Internet Access," said Tony Dean, Quest Net's Network Director. "More and more companies need higher speed to the Internet, and a wireless solution can meet the task and, in most cases, the cost at the same time."

Patricia Martins is the President of the WebCafe, an Internet and Business Coffee Shop specializing in providing clients away from home or without a computer with fast and reliable Internet access and a fresh espresso. "We can provide our clients with a much faster and secure data transfer and access without the high cost of traditional copper data lines. Quest Net provided us with a solution quickly and at a fraction of the cost of our other options," said Ms. Martins. Quest Net intends to implement this service in all of its markets across Florida.

Based in Denver, Quest Net (OTC BB:QNET) operates it's own OC-12 (622Mbps) Fiber optic SMARTRing backbone running from Key West to Sebastion, Fla. and is one of the largest regional Internet Services.
With POP's (point-of-presence) in 228 cities, it has over 2000 clients, mostly small business. It also offers dedicated high-speed Internet access, metropolitan and wide area network data transport services, including virtual private networks, to several commercial clients and other ISP's, and Wireless Internet Connection at a speed of up to 3 Mbps to a distance of 8 miles on a license free spectrum.
