Zenith has a big settop deal with NDS............................ mediacentral.com Also, NDS said it's teaming up with Standard Communications Corp., TV/COM International Inc. and Zenith Electronics Corp. to provide an end-to-end digital broadcasting solution. Standard is working with NDS on a co-branded high-end receiver. TV/COM is working on an NDS-branded cost-effective commercial receiver for programmers and others distributing satellite services to cable headend and other distribution points. And Zenith is providing a digital set-top for consumer applications, including interactive television. Finally, NTL Inc. has awarded NDS a five-year, $40-million contract for what the two companies are calling "the world's largest digital terrestrial technology contact" for digital terrestrial networks in the U.K.
