Those social statistics are often flawed. They used to go around saying that half of all marriages ended in divorce. The actual fact was that many of the divorces were by repeat divorcers --- these people had gotten into marriages without much commitment to start with and tended to be the same people.

The same probably can be said of this so-called 1/2-committing adultery. Repeat offenders skew the statistics.

The persons who keep arguing the Clinton side always ignore the facts of the case, and try to reduce to just sex and lies:

1) sex between executive and an intern (which is even less than a regular employee)

2) sex using government/business facilities (as opposed to private/personal area of White House)

3) attempt to recover and withhold evidence as in Obstruction of justice

4) attempt to get other witnesses to commit purjury (as in Witness tampering)

It's disingenuous to attempt to argue the President's case while ignoring these circumstances.
