John, here is a copy of a post that was sent to me by someone at a Vice President level in another non-reporting company that I own stock in. I have deleted the names. >> To Whom it may concern;
Please use this site to request standard and public company information only, and not as a means of personal communication with any of the officers, employees and directors of XXXXXXXXXXXXX. There are 12 officers, directors and employees of the company, none of whom - including the webmaster - have the time to personally respond to dozens of daily messages we currently receive(like "How's things?" and "What can you tell me?").
If we wanted to (we don't), and if we could (we can't), we still could not give to each inquiry the usually non-public and company confidential information that is being repeatedly requested.
I'm sorry if many will not understand or accept this policy, but it is the only way we can proceed; we cannot afford to hire a staff of people - and an extra lawyer - just to keep our many e-mailers happy.
I thank you all for your interest in xxxxxx, and remind you that we are trying our best to get out any new information on a timely basis; if it does not happen as fast as you would like, there is usually a reason, and not always one we can discuss without first obtaining legal approval, be it good news or bad. So there it is, anyone who e-mails the company will get the same response when asking most questions. Questions are to be referred to the home office via fax, mail or phone...NOT E-MAIL.
This company does not respond to E-MAIL and no longer get's into discussions with posters on message boards. Only posts updates. Maybe if CASHCO were to explain again what "their" policy in this regard some of those who may feel slighted at not receiving the answers they so desperately seek will know where to go.
JOE
