><>...Good afternoon John...><>
John you used these scriptures to show that the Holy Spirit would be taken out of the way. But I submit to you that only in the imaginations of those rapture theorist is it evident.!
II Thessalonians 2 (KJV) 1 Now we beseech you, bretheren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, AND THAT MAN OF SIN BE REVEALED, THE SON OF PERDITION; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so That he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 AND NOW YE KNOW WHAT WITHHOLDETH THAT HE MIGHT BE REVEALED IN HIS TIME. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: ONLY HE WHO NOW LETTETH WILL LET, UNTIL HE BE TAKEN OUT OF THE WAY. 8 And THEN shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.
Now for your consideration: The wicked one, satan, shall be revealed when Michael casts him out of heaven. Rev 12:7-10 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
John there are numerous reason why the verses you claim to be removing the Holy Spirit from the earth just cannot be true. The first being an impossible rearranging of sentence structure. If we were to interpret it as being the Holy Spirit which is spoke of we would have to necessarily change the entire structure of the greek, which cannot be done.
The Gr. verb used here katecho is in fact a transitive verb. It must have an object as well as a subject...it cannot arbitrarily be attached to an imaginary object...It must revert back to the object spoken about. In this instance the subject nor the object are not in the 7th verse. The verb must therefore automatically go back then to v.4. If the subject then is satan, the object(of this scripture is his position in the heavenlies), of which he will be ejected by Michael.
Michael will be the one who will let at the appointed time as announced by God Himself. And when Michael is not holding satan anymore, satan will be cast down to earth, to deceive who may. He will come disguised as Jesus. He will come disguised as an angel of light.!
The Holy Spirit will still be here...praise God... as will also, all of God's people. __________ __________
Incidently John, Paul also give a strong warning her.... Let no man deceive you by any means, but that day will not come except there happen two very clear events.. (the day he is referring to John is the return of our Lord. You do agree as to that, do you not?) 1. That man of sin be revealed...the son of perdition And 2. The falling away.
The return of our Lord will not happen until those two events happen first....Plain and simple are these words of Paul...And we who are alive will be here to see it....Praise God my brother, Praise God!
Have a blessed day Shalom...><> |
