Bill, if in fact over 8 million of the 11 million share float is in long hands, is the market action over the past few weeks due only to the trading in the "free" shares out there? Taking into consideration sales by long-time holders (1 million?? I don't know how to estimate this figure.) and accumulation by current longs (less the single owner of1mil+ shares; I don't know how long they've been held) and new owners, which I'll make a SWAG and say 1.5 - 2 million, this issue could be totally unique in leaving only 10 - 15% of shares "free" within a month or so, and a much lower percentage than that by the first of the year. If anyone knows of a similar situation in their experience, I'd be very interested to know the company and the circumstances. The closest image this brings to mind is all those little old ladies with original 1884 Transcontinental Railroad certificates in a cigar box under the bed. Weird. M.
