You obviously mostly buy large caps.

1) Small companies seldom are perceived as the best at what they do, even if they are. You are right in that CSCO has the perception that they are the best in what they do, and the market rewards them for that. Are CSCO's competing products better? They don't even have GE out yet - announced but not out. MRVC has been selling for a year. ASND is kicking their butt in WAN switches.

4) 8 1/2 years of sustained revenue growth isn't enough for you? They have grown EVERY quarter of their existence on revenue. Since they are only 8 1/2 years old, they can't do better.

6.) Small companies go from cash flow negative to positive to negative as they grow - especially if they grow through acquisitions. Larger companies can buy small companies and still remain cash flow positive. This is just the facts of life for small companies.

I'm not quibbling with your rules. Every disciplined investor has to develop their own set and follow them. I'm just commenting that they are slanted heavily towards large caps.
