z, first, i don't listen to cnbs because they are full of bs. second, i see amat having negative trailing 12 month earnings in 18 months. if you think $30 is cheap for negative earnings 18 months out then you will get what you will get. i may be wrong on my outlook, but betting on an irrational market 18 months in the future is not a bet i'll take. good luck.
