I use RS in X's as a MAJOR criteria for stock selection and would appreciate anybody's comments on how to better "tweek" the system. First, i recently recall the RS of DIS reversing to O's on it's chart but then a few days later the stock split and presto, no sign of any reversal down on the post split RS chart (not even a sign of weakness). Anybody have any "solution" to this phenomena? This leads into the second problem: it is much easier for a higher priced stock to change columns on it's RS chart.... has anybody tried to adjust this at all by using a logarithmic chart instead of the tradition .25, .50, or 1.0 scale charts? Any comments would be welcomed and appreciated.
