Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

No, they began as The Four Seasons (featuring the sound of Frankie Valli) - had one hit as "The Wonder Who" later on and at some point became "Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons" when Frankie demanded more recognition as so many leads do.

I think what Denice means is they had a prior name before their first mega-hit of "Sherry". I don't have a clue as to what it was.
