Does it disturb you that I am posting things that you wish were not so?
I am not the one making the rules, I am merely pointing out that what some people believe to be the case may not really be the case.

If people were allowed to post anything they wanted to, as some believe;
Why then do people get "booted" from SI for posting things that SI doesn't want them to?
It seems to me that if the "freedom of speech" idea was all powerful, then SI would not be allowed to boot anybody, at all.
I realize that SI is private, but if freedom of speech superseded everything, how could SI do it?
If freedom of speech doesn't apply here, then this is a perfect case in point, that maybe there is a chink in that argument, no?
It's not important what you want things to be, as a practical matter, it is important as to how things are.
