That has been the case so far, Roy -- NT anyone? It's a Borland 'attempt to access busy clipboard' msg that QP naturally blames on 'the other guys program 'locking the clipboard'. It happens most often when pasting to/from WinEdit (I can't do without a programming editor), but also if I save from WinEdit and open it in NotePad for the paste. Bob
