I would not believe you. You must have evidence and a court of law to prove your accusations. I believe very little of what I read, hear, see, smell and taste. Child molesters are tracked by some states. So one can verify that in some cases. If you where to say someone was altering these records I would be concerned. Child molesters, all known ones are or were convicted and most are behind bars or tracked. The unknown is what is left and yes it is frightening at times. However, the unknown is fair game for anyone to play with.

Just the other day I was in a restaurant and chatting with a waitress and she told me the moon was actually hollow and is a space ship for the Illuminati.

People and their beliefs never cease to amaze me.

This is why I like SI so much. It is very rich in myth, misnomers and non-sequiturs. Though some of the residence are hostile. When I first started posting I asked a question on insider selling. Well the bulls huffed and puffed, accused me of rabble rousing the thread and proceeded to ignore me. They wouldn't answer my questions. So I upped the anti. I post the sales of the individuals on the headline of the thread. It didn't get anywhere. Stock did fall--DIMD. It would have been better for them to answer my question.

More to the subject. Daily print, TV and radio and now the Internet is more or less based on speculation. Journalists are complaining that the stories are breaking so fast that they have little time interpret the events. I read interpretation as slant or twist.

I just love how financial reporters juxtaposition events to stock prices rising and falling -- a divine comedy of errors.

An authority I favor on media is Marshall McLuhan, he is dead now, may he rest in peace, despite the fact he is a catholic may be still is? He is a very good read on how to read media. A well-known McLuhanism is "The Medium is the Message."

My long-winded point to all this is that the Internet is a good thing. Users should feel free to post what ever they want on Web pages or SI.

Just let me do the sorting please.

Lachesis.
