One of my college roommates used to ask women if they would like to hear a poem. They would invariably say yes and he would respond

Roses are red
Viloets are blue
I like peanut butter
Wanna f@@k?

He would wind up getting slapped about 99% of the time but if he remained persistent he would eventually find a yes and compared with other approaches it saved time.
