T's ties with LU are going to be tough to crack, however. T seems to be holding out just because LU mentioned the possibility of an 80-channel system. That alone should tell you how strong their ties are. I'm guessing TLAB's ties to RBOCs will boost CIEN's sales there to make up for it.

This whole thing does raise one question: are there any problems with CIEN's system that would cause LU to get the nod over them? I've heard nothing, but I was curious if anyone else had.
