Graystone: What does RMIL and any imaginary position you think I may have, to do with the discussion here?
I still don't understand the connection you are trying to make.

BTW..I don't own any RMIL stock.
But even if I did, I like potato chips, how would that be relevant to this discussion either?

You posted a link to a thread that discusses jerks.
Some people think you are one.
Are they right?
Wrong?
Who cares?

None of these things have anything to do with whether or not people use SI to manip stocks, and whether or not the SEC is going to crack down on posters on chat boards.

The idea has been put forth that the SEC hasn't enough people to effectively monitor the boards.
Well, that may be true, but they will be watching and catching some people.
That is one or ten less manipulators that the rest of us have to be concerned with.
In addition, they don't really have to monitor all the boards to have an effect.
They probably won't even look at boards that discuss well known companies, (ie IBM ATT etc) except infrequently.
I would imagine they would concentrate on the BB stocks.

I also think that you will see some action soon, I think that they (government) like to make a big splash to show they are "on the ball", and then things would kind of quiet down for a period.

But in all of this, I do not believe I have brought any outside personal things into the discussion,
because I think that is not important to who is correct or not correct here.

As I see it, the thread was set up to discuss manipulations, by chat boards.
IMO, many manipulations occur as a result of postings.
I believe that the postings have to be questionable
to achieve the manipulations.
(short or long)
I believe that the SEC is getting upset with this.
I believe that people who participate in these doings are going to find trouble.
I have posted links which I believe supports my position.
