There's no question the LU product is vaporware (my post did say "possibility"). My philosophy is simply never get in the way when the 800-pound gorilla takes you on, and that's what LU did to CIEN with that announcement. I sold CIEN for that reason and its general business troubles, and put the money in LU.

Speaking of CIEN's business troubles, at about one-third of the combined companies' value, a flat quarter from CIEN will definitely hurt TLAB. The question is, how fast can TLAB's sales force increase CIEN's sales? That's the key to the combined companies' sucess (IMHO).

I like TLAB a lot, but I'm sticking with LU and NT. Much easier to sleep at night. Good luck to all.
