Sorry for the delay, been out of town. I think that I would still
consider closing out the position before the Aug 20 MIFGY meeting
simply as a conservative move. With their share price eroding they
are going to want to put a major spin on this merger and will be
getting pressure from ISLI to do so too since ISLI doesnt want any
shareholder lawsuits out of this. Also, I saw in Barron's last night
a blurb on ISLI selling by a major shareholder. There could be lots
of reasons for this such as a charter or strategy that does not allow
for holding foreign securities which is what we all will be doing
after the merger so it could be for logical reasons or it could be
they dont like the deal. Anyway, it puts pressure on the stock and
they still own more.
