HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 3, 1998-- PrimaCis Health Information Technology, Inc. and Applied Voice Recognition, Inc. (OTCBB:AVRI - news) today jointly announced that the VoiceCOMMANDER(R) Professional Edition from Applied Voice Recognition, Inc. will be provided with PrimaCis' state-of-the-art Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System. Developed by Baylor College of Medicine faculty and staff members, the PrimaCis EMR is designed to produce a comprehensive integrated database of patient encounters in compliance with HCFA and payor requirements. The PrimaCis system interfaces with the physician's existing information system to receive patient demographic and diagnostic data and to immediately transmit post-case clinical cost and billing data back to those systems.
