Here are the details about AKIS float and outstanding shares.
American Kiosk started trading in April, 1998 with 4,900,000 outstanding shares.
2,000,000 restricted shares went to CEO Richard Michael 2,000,000 restricted shares went to James Hightower, a private investor 100,000 restricted shares went to another person.
That left a float of 800,000 shares.
Michael and Hightower each returned 1,000,000 shares to the company and those shares were retired, leaving the total number of outstanding shares at 2,900,000 - 800,000 of which comprised the publicly trading stock, or the float.
American Kiosk is in the process of closing a private placement of 960,000 shares which, by the end of this week, will bring the outstanding share count to 3,860,000 shares, and increase the float to 1,760,000, with the remaining 2,100,000 restricted.
There are no plans to issue any more shares, and the 50,000,000 shares authorized to be issued are to be used for new acquisitions only if and when, and in the numbers necessary.
These are the latest and correct numbers as given to me by CFO Larry Graybill.
