I think Reel.com is wrong (or was bluffing) Amazon is a threat however
Reel.com obviously has a significant lead.

I have ordered out of Print obscure titles from from both Amazon.com
& Reel.com ....

Guess who pulled through?
Amazon.com I ordered an out of print book called "The Unoriginal Sinner and the Ice Cream God" by John Powers.... the Subtotal was $28.25,
Shipping & Handling cost 3.95 Ordered March 28,1998 Received July 24, 1998 .... It took along time to get it because it's a rare out of print book

Guess Who didn't?
Reel.com I ordered about a year ago The out of print version of "Metropolis" by Fritz Lang the "Giorgio Moroder" colorized with sound version...They didn't have it and really never followed up...Granted this is a much more rare item... The asking price new for this one is $100+
right now.....luckily i found a beat up copy laying around CD Warehouse (CDWI) that i bought for $10. CDWI (used CDs)IMHO will prove to be a threat to both Reel.com & Amazon.

Personally I will go to the local Brick & Mortar store for the Majority of my Video/Book/CD purchases ... but when it comes to
finding an out of print item is when I start searching around the net..........

Cheers,
