PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- American Kiosk Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: AKIS) has signed Siegmeister Sales and Service of Hillside, New Jersey, to market the in-store version of American Kiosk's Pizza Place throughout the Northeastern United States.
Founded in the early 1900s, Siegmeister is one of the region's largest and oldest independent food service equipment sales and service organization. It has eighteen completely equipped service vehicles in the metropolitan New York area, in addition to a fleet servicing fourteen states on the East Coast -- all manned by fully trained personnel. They service more than 8,000 accounts.
"A partnership with American Kiosk is a welcome addition to our core business," said Carl Tasch, president of Siegmeister Sales and Service. "Our customers have been asking for a convenient and fast method of producing a fresh-baked pizza, and we're thrilled to offer them the turn-key and surprisingly affordable Pizza Place."
A specially equipped cart operates as a "mini-Pizza Place" within the store. Attractive red and green Pizza Place signs and menus are displayed above the cart, as well as in high traffic areas, like the checkout counter and gas pump.
"We are exceptionally fortunate to gain the marketing power of a highly respected and broadly established enterprise like Siegmeister," said John Mautner, American Kiosk's vice president of carts and kiosks. "They were recently recognized as a number-one producer for another kiosk type operation, and we are confident that they will provide the same high level of results for American Kiosk."
After installing a Pizza Place kiosk, convenience and grocery store owners can enjoy increased customer traffic by offering their patrons a piping-hot, pizzeria-style personal pizza served in about the same time it usually takes to order a burger and fries.
The company's secret is a unique, patented, award-winning oven that uses a space-age cooking brick heated to 550 degrees, combined with forced air and a precision-timed, grill element. With virtually no food preparation or clean-up required, only a single employee is needed to serve patrons a fresh-baked pizza.
American Kiosk Corporation is involved in the development and implementation of national-brand franchise systems of kiosk-style retail outlets that deliver popular food products to consumers.
