"Having had the opportunity to talk with Mr. Shelby I believe for autos we will see an engine in a vehicle and running in less than a year."

I have just completed a one week study of the performance of a production engine/vehicle in the hills and turns of Northern California. While I have no knowledge of the information contained in the quote of Mr. Finn (All of my contact with the Shelby company has indicated that they cannot/will not divulge any information concerning the Axial Piston Rotary Engine (either positive or negative)). However, it is my assessment that an Axial Piston Rotary Engine will not be featured in any production vehicle over the course of the next year.
