RE: During the next few weeks, Dell will rise as a result of the good earnings report and the split announcement...this should come before earnings, but because of the weak.... I need to see the stock strong and stay strong first. Then I will worry about covering. As strong as the stock tends to be, it is still in a corrective mode. RE:As far as IBM being in a better (financial) position to buy back their stock...Eh? It is a bigger company with a more reliable revenue stream and therefor a greater abality to pay the interest.
