Let me take a crack at this. "Talk to the hand". It's a hand gesture people use to let someone know they don't want to talk to them. They do this by raising their hands almost to the face of the other person and they would say, "talk to the hand 'coz the face doesn't really care". It's better delivered when you include a side to side head movement. It's like giving someone the attitude. I think that expression came from that girl from the sitcom "Nanny". You know that hair dresser from New York who talks through her nostrils (Fran something can't remember her name). Anyway, hope that helps. Enjoy the rest of the day.
