We are now at a juncture that the market is standing at. If we move beyond intraday resistance which also happens to be today's open, the market can then start its late intraday uptrend. This will significantly increase its chances in closing up. But I think the chances are against it closing today beyond the 9000 magic number.

Some of the stocks that provide market leadership are in a holding pattern while others like INTC and DELL appear to be rallying. So this market has yet to be determined. But from what I see so far, the market bias is up. But I would not consider this a rally until the DJIA prints in positive terratory and the leadership stocks are moving up, several which are at a resistance level right now.
