At any rate, I still don't understand what difference it makes.
Of course, I have no financial interest so to me, if he is, he is.
If he isn't, he isn't.

I don't know that his lying or telling the truth about the position is that important.
I think that what he is saying about a conspiracy (that is what he's getting at, no?) is what should be examined.
Is that true or not?
Again.. I don't know that I really care one way or another, but if true, it does give everyone an opportunity to bash each other again..:-)

Please don't say they are related, because IMO, they are not.
He could be lying about one, but not the other.
He could be lying about both.
He could be lying about neither.
