I'm moving to a rural area where old fashioned dial-up ISPs will be the only choice for quite some time. I've found one service offering ' multi-homed backbone' linkage. Has anyone had experience with a multi-homed provider? Sounds like a prudent approach in theory.

We currently use multiple T-1 connections
with Worldcom, UUNET, Sprint, BBN Planet, MCI and DS-3 service through
Goodnet.

My other option is GTE which is recommended by order execution brokers I am considering although GTE does not support bonded duel modems. The multi-homed service does.

Any thoughts anyone??
