Couldn't agree with you more. Currently scheduled to be effective some time next week, CVG's shares should open with or quickly go to a 50%+ premium, despite the lackluster second quarter and so-so third-quarter outlook.
It isn't every day that an investor can buy an IPO containing the world's number-one telemarketer and the world's number-one cellular billing company.
However, the best play is to buy CSN. Assuming CVG goes to a 50% premium, well over 60% of CSN's value will be in the 80%+ of CVG it owns and will soon be spinning off. The balance of CSN, now a relatively pure LEC play(some IXC and other), is likely to become acquisition bait over time.
Would have liked to have bought CSN options, but none available have reasonable liquidity.
