John,

I closed out my SIEB position today (at a very nice profit ... except for the possible liability of these rights).

But I wish I had sold short a small amount on Friday, to find out if shares sold short after the record date would also be liable. (If they were not, then that was indeed a golden opportunity, as the price did not budge until today.)

There is SO MUCH I don't know!
