If the bounce has happened the 29,000,000 shares of MU stock that TI took as payment will continue to increase in value.Maybe owning the stock will be better than owning the resources.This is even more likely if you consider that Micron will make more cost competitive product than TI would have.
If I am understanding this right ------in a year MU stock could be $60 x 29,000,000 = 1,740,000,000 instead of $25 x 29,000,000 = $725,000,000 ---could be a nice addition to the balance sheet.
I think I read that TI has the option to buy more shares but I can't find it now ---do you know how many and for what price?
