Here's your answer...Received a call from Peter Troop of Novell regarding William Donahoo.... "We do not provide bio's on personnel other than for corporate officers" "Mr. Donahoo has been with marketing for some time...<uh..>.. and is one of several product directors..<uh..uh> ...I believe he is director of marketing for the InternetWare"... Novell has over 100 product marketing people in the company" ..."Willy is an example of one of those people in that group"...."He reports to VP of Marketing and that group...." "If I can be of more help please call me back at....." To answer you question Joe, Mr Troop did not say if it was "line" or "staff" , what's your take? What type of press is Mr. Donahoo getting for Novell? Good or Bad? Can you be more specific on Mr. Donahoo's comments and where you might have seen him quoted and the type of publication. Free press is great press and if he is doing something right, perhaps those other 99 marketing folks can learn from him. If not then we should let Mr. Troop know accordingly. Hope this helps. EKS
