Does anyone recall a stock broker who used to be the preferred broker for StarTronix Rep's? Remember when StarTronix was giving reps the opportunity to purchase STNX with no broker fee. The broker who they picked to handle those transactions began to badmouth STNX stock to the very clients whom StarTronix entrusted to him. At any rate, I have a friend that purchased from this broker under the above mentioned policy and is holding quite a lot of stock. The broker has informed my friend that he, too, is holding 100,000 shares. The broker told my friend of his holdings several months ago. This broker on more than a few occasions has made frantic calls to my friend and implored him to sell everything fast because, and alway with the same prediction that STNX is going to go to under 25 cents fast. Each time, my friend resists, each time the stock does not go to 25 cents. That broker did it again today. He called my friend and implored him to sell fast. Again, the stock did not plummet, but rose a bit to .675.
Here is my point/question. This broker, holding 100,000 shares himself, must surely have many, many clients who came to him during that referrel period with StarTronix. What do you think would be his advantage if he were to call everyone who is holding and implored them all to sell fast and cast this spell of fear upon them? My guess is that if he calls my friend....he surely calls others, too.
I place that before you, both as vital info and as a question to those who want to factor it into their many well intentioned equations. |
