Thanks Richard D,
I feel very light! I have moved my port to 50/50 cash/equity from over 95% invested earlier this year. I don't think the bull-run is over like some, but I do strongly feel that between now and the end of October there will be some serious blood letting.

I currently subscribe to the theory that I want as much cash available if the market hiccups. If we get through the next few months without a major incident, I will probably have missed only a small opportunity in the grand scheme of things.

I guess the wording of my post must have read too strong as I didn't mean to make you defensive. I just feel that the Oil services sector has given little to no indication of a turn around. Day after day of 3 to 6% drops followed by 1 percent bounces keeps me in the "bear" camp with respect to this sector. I have a feeling that too many on this thread simply compare the current price to the 52 week high and say "WOW, what a bargain" as if that's all it takes to be successful in the stock market!!

My post was submitted with the best intentions. I truly believe it is too early to be buying most of the stocks in this sector.

....and you are absolutely correct! Your odds are a billion times better buying stocks in this sector then playing Powerball! Lotteries were invented for people who don't understand (or failed) math.

Best of luck to all,
Michael
