well Mr Thall, what you have said is completely incorrect at least from the standpoint of the Phoenix office, and i'm sure any other major BLM office. I called the office back and related what you said last week about the soc. office..they told me that what you are presenting is totally incorrect but perhaps it is because the phoenix office is a giant next to the one you called. They thought it hilarious that you said they accepted claims on sept 1 without even checking and that it was up to the claimers to fight it out. Since this seems to be very important to people who own IPM, i think someone should call the PHOENIX office, as this is the office that is involved, an varify this.Just a small amount of common sense will
afford you the notion that it would be impossible for an office the size of phoenix to log in every maintenance fee and check every piece of paperwork in that amount of time. I was told it usually takes 1 - 2 months for this to be accomplished. Dale Runyon could come in at 3PM on August 31 and pay his fees and turn in his paperwork..it would take them some time to go in and cross check all that information..and you are suggesting that the next morning at 8Am they will let you claim over his claims and tell him to fight it out?? what nonsense. The claims are not put in the computer as claimable until the letter is written..fact. I urge anyone that is concerned here to find out for yourselves. HOWEVER dont call some small office..call the office that is involved, Phoenix. So much false information is spouted here, it is truly ashame that more dont double check.
