NO NEWS.... WEll todays scripts were flat and no announcement from VVUS...as you folks remember i asked in a previous post that we give until close of business on Tues...for news to come out..if not I will apologize, as I have no desire to spread false information...my sources have been very good and obviously I cannot print the release myself or I already would have.. I sent NIna this note on Friday... Nina, " Has Vivus hired an investment banker to oversee and consult on the sale of the company???? Regards Pizzaman My first e-mail received no response so today I recent my note with the words "second friendly request" written before it... I received a response in about 10 minutes..here is what it said exactly, "AS soon as we have an update on that front we will let you know." That is all I have for you folks tonight....wish I had more news..but you do notice that the response was not an absolute " no."..or that the company is not for sale and is continuing on its path for a partnership...
