Does US West have DSL technology where you are? It seems like I saw they had it in Denver. I live near Boise, and they have it but I can't get it to my house. The people who have it say it is amazing. (10x faster than 28.8, dedicated connection, costs $40 extra per month but you don't have to get a second phone line - the phone works while you are connected-) I wish i could get it. Maybe this would work for you... uswest.com
