By the way, the Alpha 21064PC-based low cost PCs have been available for some time already. These puppies sell for less than $2000. The K7 will replace the 21064PC. "If they can't even keep their promise to deliver a Super7 chipset what are the chances they can deliver a desktop K7 chipset? " AMD, unlike Intel, has no wish to wipe out their suppliers and customers. They recognize that there are other companies who make a living selling motherboards and chipsets.
