A good point, but I could not find the Metastock thread here on SI. I did find one for version 6.0 but not for 6.5 . I see what you mean about the program remembering the last place that you select. It just seems that when QP made the 40 some subdirectories under the meta\symbols directory, that MS can not find them. If you go into one of the subs, then the program will find the charts, but only in that one directory and not all of them.

I hope that this is clear. Maybe I will have to create a real metastock directory after all.
